12.3.18 - Garrane, owned by Friends Fro Insurance, scored a ready win at Taunton yesterday, with Nick Scholfield in the saddle. Thirteen went to post in the three-mile Event Care Global Handicap Hurdle which was run on this season’s typical heavy ground. and Nick (Scholfield) took it up two out and kick on for an 11 lengths win. It was a first success since joining us from Ireland last year and a pleasing result.
21.2.18 - Unison scored his tenth win for us since joining us two years ago, running on strongly in the C&S Electrical Wholesale Handicap Hurdle at Taunton under Matt Griffiths to score by four and a half lengths. He was 5lbs than when scoring over course and distance last time out but that didn’t seem to bother him.
He’s in the form of his life at the moment, and if we had a yard full like him it would be happy days indeed! It was our 20th winner of this campaign.
8.2.18 - Gonnabegood justified his favourite’s position at the head of the market by landing the two miles seven furlongs handicap hurdle at Towcester yesterday for the Free Spirits Partnership. Relatively lightly raced, he’s won a couple for us now,
5.2.18 - Our last three runners have been winners and its great that the yard is enjoying a good vein of form.
Dashel Drasher, bred by Camilla, started the hat-trick on Thursday at Wincanton where he made a winning debut in the bumper under Matt Griffiths. It was a good performance and we hope he can build on that.
Miss Minuty scored her third win for the yard since she joined us in July, just getting up to win the fillies handicap at Lingfield. She’s a game mare and seems to love her racing.
At Taunton yesterday we dropped Unison in class and he readily won the Bathwick Tyres Handicap Hurdle in the hands of Matt Griffiths. What a super horse he’s been since he joined us two years ago, winning nine times and under both codes.
We have a relatively quiet week this week, and then have made several entries for Friday.
