An Across the card double...

Writer: Jeremy ScottJeremy Scott

We are now in October and the National Hunt racing season is just around the corner with the first meeting at Exeter today and Chepstow tomorrow!

We claimed bragging rights to the uncontested leading trainer for 30 minutes after Espalion won the first under a good ride from Rex. He has been in good form however I considered him to high in the handicap however he has run a career best race today.

Laura has spent the last few days at Keysoe, competing at the FEI Para Dressage 1*/2*/3* competition on Koko Pop. She has had a great time competing at international level for the first time, winning two classes and finishing third, only beaten by 0.4% by the winner. It was a great experience, especially the Freestyle to Music test which was the first time Laura has done a test to music!

We run Ballybough Nora tomorrow at Chepstow, if she repeats her run at Exeter at the end of last season she should run a good race.
