Our Cheltenham week started on a win from Blazing Saddles at Stratford on Monday. Matt gave him a excellent ride and he won well, returning to the form of his Huntingdon second last season. He enjoys this better ground.
it was a very difficult decision, however it was for the horse’s interest for Dashel Drasher not to run at Cheltenham. The ground was good to soft and the times were quick, we may look at our options at Aintree for him or wait for next season.
Sienna Royal has been showing promise this season and her owners, Air Cdr & Mrs Martin Hallam have been incredibly patient with her as she cont to be ballotted out of races. She was a game mare who made Paul O’Brien earn his money, however managed to win well and should continue to progress from here.
