Wow, what a day! We have just about recovered from a fantastic weekend...it has sunk in that we have trained and bred a grade 1 winner!
We bred Dashel Drasher from So Long, a five time point to point winner. He is the third foal, the first two, Popping Along and Lady Longshot both won over hurdles and we have a yearling gelding by Passing Glance out of Lady Longshot. So Long was bred by Camilla, out of Cherrypicker who was placed in a point to point, one of the first horses we trained.
It was a credit to the team who have been involved with Dashel Drasher since he was a foal and watch him grow up into the horse he is now. A huge congratulations to his owners: Richard & Veronica Lock and Bridget & Patrick Tully. It was a shame they were not allowed to be there to watch him live however we will have to have a party to celebrate once we are able to.
