January 2022

A total of four winners for Team Scott in January! A huge credit to the brilliant team at home whose hard work is reaping it's rewards on the track.

Kissesforkatie has had a tricky couple of years however it is rewarding to see her back to winning ways on New Years Day.

Pilsdon Pen sprung a slight surprise at 80-1 when winning at Wincanton, we considered him over-priced in the betting and thought he would run well, however it was a surprise that it was an ITV race!

Mr ultra-consistent, otherwise known as Native Robin pinged around his beloved Wincanton to win his third chase this season. He is now on a career high mark and life will surely be tougher however he is in top form and continues to enjoy life!

The Winter Millions at Lingfield was rightly well supported and we were fortunate to win one on the races, picking up a nice bit of prize money with Celtic Art who won the 1m 4f Handicap under an inspired Hollie Doyle ride. We only bought Celtic Art last November when he was the sale topper at Ascot. He has since finished second and won on his two starts for us. He will go hurdling in the Spring however he has more races to win on the all weather. Dashel Drasher ran a fantastic race in defeat, it was an extremely close finish and nothing should be taken away from Two For Gold, Dashel Drasher or Brisol De Mai on a fantastic race. The sad post script was the loss of Master Tommytucker. He has been a formidable opponent over the past few seasons to Dashel Drasher and we will miss the competition and our thoughts go to Paul, Harry and the team at Ditcheat as well and Louise Cabble.
